This exquisite Mid-Century 14 karat solid yellow gold convertible ring features two completely different gemstone cluster designs in one ingenious reversible setting. One side is prong-set with an oval-cut genuine blue topaz measuring 8 millimeters long by 6 millimeters wide and weighing an estimated 1.29 carats. Surrounding the topaz are six round-cut natural diamonds arranged in a sparkling floral cluster.
Flip the hinged double shank over, and the ring transforms into an elegant all-diamond cluster ring set with 13 round full-cut natural diamonds, creating the look of an entirely different piece of jewelry. Each diamond measures approximately 2 millimeters in diameter and weighs an estimated 0.03 carats, for a total diamond weight of approximately 0.57 carats and a total gemstone weight for the ring of approximately 1.86 carats. The diamonds are estimated to be H–J color and SI2–I1 clarity.
The ring features a split double shank with an openwork gallery and hinged reversible head typical of inventive Mid-Century jewelry designs from the late 1960s through the 1970s. Both shanks are stamped 14K. The ring is a size 7.5 and can be re-sized to fit by your local jeweler. It weighs 4.79 grams. Expected light scratches to the gold can be polished out; otherwise, good estate condition.
Blue topaz is both the December birthstone and the state gemstone of Texas. Naturally occurring blue topaz is quite rare; most blue topaz on the market began as colorless or pale topaz that was enhanced through heat treatment and irradiation to achieve its vibrant blue color.

I ship all items the next business day after I receive them. First Class mail generally takes 3-5 business days in the U.S. Priority Mail takes 1-3 days in the U.S. However, please note that it took the US Postal Service 21 days to deliver one First Class package to California. Shipping to other countries can take 2-6 weeks via First Class International. If you need something for a specific date, consider using Priority Mail or Priority Mail Express.
Generally, no. I'm a one-woman operation and I don't have any live models available. I take great effort to photograph items on measuring devices such as ring mandrels, rulers in millimeters and inches, and scales. I also offer returns, so that if your item is not exactly what you want, you are welcome to return it for a refund.
